Our service users are our members and as such to become a
member they must undertake an assessment of need. The assessment focuses on the circumstances
that surround the individual whilst also giving an outline of the policies and
procedures and services of the Hinge.
Self, friends, family or other organisations can refer a young person to
either of our centres. On receiving a
referral a member of our team will contact them with an appropriate
appointment.
The Hinge operates an open door policy for anyone – any age
– any issue. We pride ourselves on being able to provide direct support which
is unavailable or has been refused from elsewhere.
Our centres provide cooking and laundry facilities, and IT
suite, community drop in, employment skills training, life skills training,
support for independent living, housing and benefits advice and in Bridlington
